ダイエット開始第14週が終了した。
先週体重が減っている手応えを感じていたのだが、今週は元に戻ってしまった。リバウンドと言ってもいい残念な結果であるが、これには明白な理由があると思っている。いろいろな事情がある中でダイエットを最優先に出来ない現状においての不可抗力であると言えば聞こえは良いが、ダイエットは健康問題、引いては寿命など人生そのものに影響する可能性があり、優先度などとは単なる言い訳ではないか、という叱責の声もあるだろう。
体重が戻ってしまったのはコストコに行ったことが契機となっている。コストコは年会費がかかるため、定期的に行かなければ損であるという事情も今となっては言い訳に聞こえてしまうだろうが、ともあれ久々にコストコに出かけでピザを1ピース食べ、ちらし寿司を買って帰って美味しく頂いた。余談ながら帰りにはベイシアに立ち寄ってコロッケも買ったのだが、寿司とコロッケという組み合わせは格別である。和と洋ではあるが、この絶妙な組み合わせは不思議なものである。
ここまでであれば体重も微増で済んだのではないかと思うのだが、ベーグルを買って帰ったのがよくなかったのではないかと分析している。ベーグルは最小ロットが１２ピースであり、家族が食べないことと賞味期限を気にして毎日２枚づつクリームチーズを塗って食べたのだが、日に日に体重が増えていった。昔、朝食はたくさん食べても太らないという言葉があったが、どうやらまやかしだったようである。冷静に考えれば１日のカロリー摂取量という意味では朝食分増えるわけであり、朝食をたくさん食べれば他の食事が減るかといえば、むしろお腹が減る一方である。
しかし幸か不幸か大半のベーグルは食べ尽くし、課題としては解決されたと言っていい。来週からは朝食の量を抑えることでまた体重を戻していきたい。
今週の行動指針に対する実績は以下の通りである。
・特茶 ： 目標4本に対して実績1本、△3本
・ｼﾞｮｷﾞﾝｸﾞ： 目標2回に対して実績5回、＋3回
・筋トレ ： 目標1回に対して実績1回、±0回
・その他 ： フルーツダイエットを検討中
ジョギングだけは精力的に出来ており、ようやく成果が出始めた時期だっただけに、コストコに行かざるを得なかったのは残念であった。山籠りしているわけではないためいろいろな事情に左右されるのは仕方ないが、めげずに継続していくことを誇りにしたい。成果は出ていないが、ダイエット自体はすでに３ヶ月以上継続出来ている。これだけでも立派なことである。あと１１ヶ月、例え結果が出なくとも最後まで諦めることなくダイエットを継続していきたい。
