最終的にはYosemiteにUpgradeした後に再度トライするとうまくダウンロードできた。払ったお金が無駄にならずにまずはほっと一息である。Macを買った目的の1つがKeynoteだったのだが、こちらはOne to Oneに行くこともできておらずに進まないため、まずはガリガリとエクセルを活用していきたい。さすがにウェブサイトを見るためだけに使っていては少し勿体ない。
ダウンロード版だとすぐ使えるし少し安いということで飛びついてしまったのだが、これだけ苦労したことを考えるとCDを買った方が良かったかもしれない。モノがないというのは大変不安である。悩んだ末に思い切って購入したのに、お金を払っただけで使えなかったという事態を想像すると冷や汗が出る。便利な時代になったが、利便性の落とし穴にはまって取り返しのつかないことにならないよう十分注意したい。
YosemiteにUpgradeして何か便利になったのかという点についてはこれから検証していくのだが、1点見られた不具合として、指3本でブラウザを切り替える操作ができなくなってしまった。こちらについてはOnet to Oneなどで質問して解決していきたい。
なんだかんだいいながら、One to Oneも予約してはキャンセルの繰り返しになってしまっているが、次回は来週水曜日を予約しており、こちらはなんとか行けるようにしたい。まだ1回しか行っておらず、このままでは単価1万円になってしまうため、足しげく通って元を取りたいものである。
