メインではDellのデスクトップタイプのハイパワーマシンを使用しているが、先日持ち運び用としてMac Book Air11インチをメモリだけ増設したものを購入し、現在サブマシンとして利用している。スマホでIPhone6Plusを使っており、相乗効果も期待したのだが、まだそこまでは使いこなせていない。起動が早いのは嬉しいが、人生初めてのMacであり、初歩から勉強中である。
One to Oneなど活用しながらマスターしていきたいが、しかしAppleストアは店員がわざとらしくて少し気恥ずかしい。年齢のこともあり、もう少し落ち着いた感じの店の雰囲気と店員だと足を運びやすいのだが、マイノリティであるため仕方あるまい。お金がもったいないので、無理にでも月に一度くらいは利用するようにしたい。
yosemiteという新しいOSも出たようで、無料でアップグレード出来るようなのだが、バグがあったりすると復旧も難しいため、こちらも次回のOne to Oneまで待ちたい。アップグレードした暁には使用感などこちらで報告したい。
IPhone6PlusはIPhone4Sからの機種変更だったのだが、こちらもなかなか使いこなせていない。電池の持ちとネットのスピードに不満があって機種変更したのだが、その辺りは劇的には改善せず、画面が固まることも多く、5sにしておけばよかったと思わなくもないが、こちらも慣れていきたい。
しかしまずはMac Book Airを使いこなすことが先決である。初めてのMacは難しいが面白さもあり、少しづつ覚えていきたい。
